Back Pain and Spine Care

According to the World Heath Organization (WHO), lower back pain is the leading cause of disability worldwide. While often dismissed as a minor issue, back and spine pain can deeply impact your quality of life. Surgery is not always necessary, and most patients find relief through non-surgical treatments. Dr. Massimi firmly believes that the effectiveness of these treatment hinges on whether a patient has an accurate diagnosis. He offers highly personalized care that focuses on identifying and addressing the root cause of your pain. Whether you’re dealing with chronic back pain or recovering from a spinal injury, Dr. Massimi’s approach to treatment can help you return to daily activities without being limited by pain.

Hip Pain

Hip pain is a common issue that can affect individuals of all ages, often limiting mobility and disrupting daily routines. Not all hip pain is the same, however, and like the spine, an accurate diagnosis is crucial for effective treatment. Whether caused by arthritis, overuse, or injury, hip conditions can be addressed without the need for surgery in most cases, however Dr. Massimi will not hesitate to let you know if the best solution is surgery, which sometimes applies. The key is to guide each patient on the best treatment for their specific condition and situation. Some nonsurgical treatments include education on activity modifications, physical therapy, and when necessary image-guided injections such as corticosteroid injections or platelet-rich-plasma (PRP) injections. Our goal is to give you the best information on your condition so that your care will be conservative yet effective, efficient, and lasting without future reinjuries.
